McCURDY BENITA M. "BONNIE' McCURDY, age 85, of Mentor since 1979, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born March 16, 1926 in Catharine, KS. Beloved wife of the late Thomas M. McCurdy. Beloved mother of Kathleen Harris, Neal (Rosemary) McCurdy and Laurel McCurdy. Grandmother of Keenan Harris and Matthew, Meredith and Michael McCurdy. Sister of Clara, Mary, Cecelia and Rosemary. She is also survived by other loving family members. Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor (Please meet at the church). Inurnment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp. Contributions may be made in Mrs. McCurdy's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland 44110-2602.
