MARY F. DICK
AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Mary F. Dick, 94, who passed Monday morning at Valley Care Health System Northside.
Mary was born March 5, 1917, a daughter of the late Andrew and Rebecca (Hinton) Frederick.
Mary was a graduate of the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Huntington, Pa. She served in the Army Nurse Corp. during World War II. She worked at Northside and retired in 1982.
Mary was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, its XYZ Club, the Retired Nurses Association and Canfield AARP.
Her husband, Chester O. Dick, whom she married Nov. 21, 1941, passed away March 4, 2001.
Mary leaves three daughters, Sylvia (Jim) McKinley of Mineral Ridge, Andrea Dick of Naples, Fla. and Brenda (Edward) Philibin of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Karen McKinley, Patrick Philibin and Nichole Salopak; and a great-grandchild, Noah Salopak.
Mary was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Butler.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mary’s family would like to thank everyone at the Humility house for all of their care over the years.
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
