Obituary for Anna May Taylor

ANNA MAE TAYLOR SEBRING – Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman for Anna Mae Taylor, 91, formerly of Charles Avenue, Boardman. She passed away Tuesday afternoon at Crandall Medical Center. Mrs. Taylor was born June 15, 1920, in Cuylerville, N.Y., a daughter of Edward R. and Ada Martin Munn. She had been the secretary at the Boardman United Methodist Church for 13 years. Anna was a member of Questors of the Federated Women’s Club, the Boardman Historical Society, the AARP and the Boardman United Methodist Church and its Mary Circle group. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. Her husband, Edward R. Taylor, whom she married March 6, 1948, died May 23, 1989. Surviving her are her sons, Raymond Taylor of Dayton, Nev. and George Taylor of Youngstown; brothers, George (Judy) Munn of Hockessin, Del. and James (Faith) Munn of Austintown; a sister, Mary (Robert) Breaux of Sunnyvale, Calif.; and also two grandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents, are a brother, William Munn and a sister, Dorothy O’Brien. Friends may call Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
