Obituary for Melanie Kay Dye

Melanie Kay (Miller) Dye, 41, of Jackson Township, passed away January 3, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic after a short illness. She was born October 8, 1970 in Canton. She was a 1989 graduate of Perry High School, a 1993 graduate of Kent State University and received he Masters Degree from Akron University in 1999. She taught school for 17 years at Whipple Heights and Genoa Elementary Schools. She was a member of: St. Mary's Catholic Church, NEA, OEA and PTCA educational organizations. Melanie loved education and never stopped learning. She was currently Director of Marketing for Larmco Windows and Siding. Melanie had an enthusiasm for life and enjoyed cooking and water sports. Nothing meant more to her than her family. She was so proud of all the achievements of her children. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by: her loving husband, Christopher D. Dye, whom she married August 7, 1993, her precious children; Sydnie Kay Dye, twins, Nicholas D. and Lucas C. Dye, devoted mother and step-father, Sandi and Dennis Westhoefer, , father and mother-in-law, Beverly and Richard Dye, aunt and uncle, Gregory and Patty Keifer, nephews; Ricky and Jacob Miller.cousins; Todd Kiefer and Greg and Getchen Kiefer She was preceded in death by; her only sibling Richard C. (Rick) Miller, her father Richard S. (Rick) Miller, grandparents, Charles F. and Mary (Dee Dee) May, and Stanly and Emma (Flagg) Miller. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr.
