Nancy June Diglaw
78, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan, 3, 2012, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton. Nancy was born in Massillon June 9, 1933, a daughter to the late Harry and Clara Beazell Loomis and had been an area resident her entire life. She graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1952 and from the University of Akron. She had been employed as a social worker with Country Lawn Nursing Home in Navarre and had attended Newcomers Chapel. Nancy enjoyed spending her leisure time at the Stark Wilderness Center but her greatest joy was her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Diglaw; and her brothers, Neil, Hollis, Larry, Robert, Arthur and Tom. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Seyamak) Keyghobad of Marion, MA; her sons, Donald L. Diglaw II of North Lawrence and Robert N. (Tanya) Diglaw of Dover; five grandchildren, Amber, Kodi, Moriah, Arien, and Kion; a sister, Mary Margaret (Lawrence) Rhodes of Massillon; brothers, Bruce Loomis of Massillon and Jerry Loomis of Boise. Idaho; and a sister-in-law, Delores Loomis of Massillon.
Funeral services will be Noon on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home, Massillon Chapel, with Rev. John Long officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. The family has suggested memorial donations to the Stark Wilderness Center, PO Box 202, Wilmot, OH 44689.
