Obituary for Charlotte Blake Belden
Charlotte Beldon, age 87, wife of the late Willis F. Beldon and resident of Shelton, entered into eternal rest Dec. 1, 2011 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was born Jan. 17, 1924 in Derby, daughter of the late Herman & Dorothy Conaty Blake. She attended The Church of the Assumption of Ansonia, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles as well as the Ansonia & Derby Senior Centers. She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, June Beldon of Ansonia, Lauralee Beldon of Derby & Deborah Beldon of Seymour, three grandchildren Jason & Jaymie Delnicky, both of Seymour & Kevin Beldon of Ansonia, her sister Doris Nesser of Nevada, and brothers Warren Blake of Florida & Thomas Blake of Waterbury. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Blake Sr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Lung Association through the funeral home.
