Obituary for Michael Jr Capp
MICHAEL R. CAPP JR
LORDSTOWN – Michael R. Capp Jr. entered into rest on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, in Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
On Dec. 15, 1955, in Warren, Michael R. and Frances C. Apanasewicz Capp welcomed the birth of their son, Michael.
Michael was a lifetime area resident and graduated from Lordstown High School in 1974. After graduation, Michael obtained employment at Trumbull Press Products for the next eight years, where he was as a machinist. With the company downsizing, Michael was able to obtain employment at the Cadle Company in Newton Falls for the following 15 years. Michael had just recently returned to his position at Trumbull Press.
Michael had been an active member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Newton Falls, where he would take part in many church activities. He was a member of the church council, sang in the church choir, and participated in the Bible study and the prayer group.
As a caring and loving person, Michael would do all that he could to assist others. He collected clothing to be donated, supported the Relay for Life and visited others when he thought he could bring a little sunshine to their day. Often when visiting, Michael would bring his homemade cookies or pies for them to enjoy.
Michael took interest in many athletic activities. He played basketball in the summer league, enjoyed swimming at the beach, roller blading and especially roller-skating. Another interest for Michael was expressing himself with music by playing the guitar.
His greatest interest was for the happiness of others, especially his family and friends that he dearly loved.
Wonderful memories of Michael will be carried on by his loving family, his mother and stepfather, Frances and Ron Rullie; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Christine A. and Gerald Finch and Mary Ann and Anthony Behnke; his brother, Tom A. Capp; his beloved niece, Carissa, whom he was a godfather to, and her husband, Tim Pyles; his adored great-niece, Olivia M. Pyles; and his friends.
Preceding Michael was his father, Michael R. Capp.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Newton Falls, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steven Ritter officiating.
Interment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
The Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls was entrusted with the arrangements for Michael.
