Obituary for William Fred Schwartz

“Together Again”

AUSTINTOWN – Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel at Green Haven Memorial Gardens for William Fred Schwartz, 86, who passed away Tuesday morning at Hospice House.

Bill was born March 8, 1925, in Campbell, the son of Paul and Elizabeth (Tar) Schwartz.

He was a motor inspector for Republic Steel for 34 years, retiring in 1985. He was also a self employed electrician for several years. Bill was a Catholic by faith, and was a World War II Navy veteran. He was an avid golfer in his younger days and loved to tinker around fixing things.

His wife, the former Roseanne M. Krantz, who he married May 21, 1965, passed away Aug. 9, 2010.

He leaves three children, Bill Schwartz, Marilyn Amadio, and Stacy (Matt) Johnston.

Besides his wife and parents, Bill was preceded in death by three brothers Fritz, Paul and John Schwartz; and three sisters, Helen McCrea, Elizabeth Nittoli, and Margaret Tarka.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
