McDonald- Funeral services will be held 9:30 at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel and 10 Am Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McDonald for Mary A. Fizet age 80 of McDonald who died Friday eve. at home.
Mary was born June 26, 1922 in Youngstown and was the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Bitchoski) Remish. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McDonald , was active in the church choir and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed long walks and sewing.
Mary is survived by her husband Stephen J. Fizet, Sr. whom she married May 30, 1942. She also leaves three sons, Steve (Sue) Fizet Jr. of Girard, Thomas Edward (Marijo) Fizet of Diamond, Kevin D. (HelenJo) Fizet of McDonald, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Helen Smerigan and two brothers Joe and John Remish.
