Obituary for Maynard S Moore

MAYNARD L. MOORE SR FARMDALE – Maynard L. Moore Sr., 80, formerly of Austintown died Friday, May 6, 2011, at his residence. He was born May 13, 1930, in Houlton, Maine, the son of the late Hollis E. and Helen Henderson Moore. Maynard worked as a Metallurgist for U.S. Steel in Youngstown for 30 years and owned and operated Moore’s Sunoco on Meridian Road in Austintown. He was a member of Eagles Lodge in Girard and also enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He is survived by his daughters, Helen M. (James F.) Oates of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Tina M. (Jeffrey) Pesa of Liberty Twp.; sons, Maynard L. Moore Jr. of Austintown, and Garry R. (Rebecca) Moore of Canfield; brother, John “Jack” (Margie) Moore of Plymouth, Maine; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Private services were held at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.
