Julia Lane

Julia Lane, wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Assumption Village North Lima. She was 94 years old. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at St. Charles Church in Boardman, Ohio. Friends can pay their respects from 12:30 p.m. until the time of mass at the church.
Julia was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on Sept. 21, 1920 and moved to Youngstown in 1970. Julia worked most of her life as a bookkeeper at several businesses, including the U.S. Government. She retired from Snyder-Bentley in the 80s. Julia was also a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was an expert seamstress, enjoyed golfing, bowling, doing puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elizabeth LaWall, her 4 brothers and sisters, her husband, William J. Lane, who died in 2001 and her daughter, Julieann L. Miles, who died in 2010.
Julia will always be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Liz Lane (David Fisher) and their two children Kenton and Chloe of Columbus; a son-in-law, Robert Miles, of Salem and his two children, Michael (Amanda) of Akron and Meredith of Columbus
