Mary D. Measmer
AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church for Mary D. Measmer, 79, who passed away Friday at her home.
Mary was born Jan. 4, 1931, in Fostoria, a daughter of the late Daniel W. and Orpha (Parmenter) Davis.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was a member of the Austintown Fitch High School Band Parents from 1971 to 1982. Mary worked as the cafeteria manager for Austintown Fitch High School.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Measmer, whom she married Feb. 14, 1954; five children, Bradley (Joyce) Measmer of Denver, Douglas Measmer of Austintown, Stephan Measmer of Bellrica, Mass., Becky (Timothy) Bakos of Austintown and Laurel Measmer of Austintown; one brother, Gerald (Phyllis) Davis of Santa Marie, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church prior to the services.
