HOWLAND - Helen Zanders Schuster, 96, of Howland, died Saturday, May 1, 2010, in Autumn Hills Nursing Home in Niles.
She was born Dec. 29, 1913, in Brier Hill, the daughter of Herman and Emma Krohn Zanders.
She was a member of Howland Community Church and retired from St. Elizabeth Health Center, where she worked in housekeeping.

Survivors include a son, Fred Schuster of Stuart, Fla.; two daughters, Judi Landino of Peoria, Ill., and Betty Cline of Howland; two brothers, Harry Zanders of Girard and Herman Zanders of San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Mildred Frederick and Ruth Corsale, both of Girard; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McClurkin Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Garden.
