Obituary for Barbara A Mang

BARBARA A. 'BABA' MANG BOARDMAN – Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church for Barbara A. Mang, 68, who entered into rest Sunday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Barbara was born Sept. 17, 1942, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Fleps) Yuhas. She was a graduate of Jackson Milton High School, and was a member of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church. She was employed at Compass Transportation in Data Entry, retiring early to care for her granddaughter. She was also a homemaker. Barbara, affectionately known as “Baba,” loved her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for others. She dedicated her life to helping others. Barbara will be sadly missed and remembered by many, including her husband, Ronald C. Mang, whom she married May 21, 1966; her son, Ronald J. Mang of Canfield; daughter Valerie (Ken) Patterson of Austintown; her granddaughter, Victoria Ann Patterson, whom she adored and whom was the “light of her life”; and her dog, “Bella,” whom she loved. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, 3100 Canfield Road in Youngstown, and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church.
