LIBERTY - Lewallyn Shirey, 83, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Northside Medical Center in Young-stown.
Lew was born March 24, 1927, in Rimersburg, Pa., the son of Blaine and Sarah Shirey.
Lew had worked for Kmart Distribution Center in Bazetta and attended Church of God of Prophecy in Liberty
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Snyder Shirey; his son, Greg Shirey of Girard; his daughter, Toni Gardner of Girard; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandson.
He is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Interment will take place at Greenhaven Cemetery.
