Obituary for Frank M Newbery
Frank Mortimer Newbery Sr.
AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Mr. Frank Mortimer Newbery Sr., 96, who died Wednesday evening at Austinwoods.
He was born Sept. 30, 1913, in Philadelphia, a son of Alfred C. And Aurelia Manning Newbery.
Frank had worked for GE for 45 years, where he was an Order Service Manager. He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. His greatest joy was his family and his love to sight see.
He was married to Isabel, whom he married Sept. 3, 1938, and she died June 14, 1994.
Frank leaves his two daughters, Judith Newbery of Rochester, N.Y. and Lynda (Mike) Maschek of Ceneca, S.C.; two sons, Frank M. (Rita) Jr. and Robert, both of Austintown; nine grandchildren, Kari (Tom) LaMora, Kelly, Beki, Robby, Mike, Katie, Cathy, Kayln and Mary Sue; and five great-grandchildren, Kira, Billy, Maranda, Madilyn and Maxwell.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the flower fund at the Christian Science Church on Meridian Road
