Obituary for Anna Antonczak

Anna Antonczak 1925-2011 April 17, 2011 NILES - A very special angel left this world to be with our Lord Friday, April 15, 2011, as Anna Antonczak, of Niles, passed away succumbing to cancer surrounded by her children. She was born June 28, 1925, in the Ukraine, the daughter of Wasil and Anastasia Bechko Mushowski. She was an avid church goer as she was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church of The Byzantine Rite in Youngstown, and enjoyed volunteering making pyrohy at the church. A precious soul, she loved animals and nature and spent a great deal of her time outdoors. Her husband Fedor Antonczak whom she married Oct. 10, 1946, died September 24, 2000. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends, especially her son Russell Antonczak of Niles; a daughter Maria Marczyszyn of Youngstown; and a granddaughter Anna Marczyszyn of North Carolina. Even at the darkest of hours, the love for her family always shown through her eyes. May God bless her and grant her eternal peace. She is preceded in death by a son Stephen Antonczak and a son-in-law Stefan Marczyszyn. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where a Panakhyda prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Youngtown with the Rev. Father Steven Zarichny officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Haven Cemetery
