Edith E Rodenhausen February 25, 1919 - April 4, 2011 Resided in Canfield, OH Services will be held 11 AM Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church for Edith Emily Rodenhausen, 92, of Canfield who passed away Monday evening in St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman Campus Edith was born February 25, 1919 in Dollar Bay, MI the daughter of John and Josephine (Hoglund) Steve. She was a home maker, a current member of Calvary Baptist Church, former member of Westside Baptist Church, a member of Trumbull Baptist Association, American Baptist Denomination . Edith was also a member of the Leisure Timers at church, the choir, and was a past Sunday School Teacher and Youth Director. Her husband, Rev. Albert Rodenhausen, whom she married June 18, 1943, passed away December 30, 1999. Edith leaves six children; David T. (Marilyn) Rodenhausen of Chagrin Falls, Lois (George) Dickinson of Broomall, PA, Carol (Ken) Yount of Phillipi, WV, Mary Ann (John) Yount of Ford City, PA, Rebecca (Jim) Miller of Aromas, CA, John M. (Polly) Rodenhausen of Marysville, OH, one sister; Vera Quick of AZ, 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by one grandchild, one great grandchild, three sisters, and three brothers. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and again from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Calvary Baptist Church in Edith''s name.
