Memorial services will be 11 AM Friday at Lockwood United Methodist Church for Elizabeth “Betty” M. Justice who passed away Saturday morning at the Woodlands at Austinwoods.
Betty was born September 14, 1927 in Youngstown a daughter of the late James A. and Anna (Noufer) Wood.
She was an insurance agent for over 30 years with O??(TM)Neil Insurance Agency and the Mayflower Insurance Agency retiring in 1997.
She was a member of the Lockwood United Methodist Church (formerly Grace Methodist) where she was Sunday School teacher, choir director, church secretary and Lay Speaker.
She belonged to WAGOM Club and volunteered for 7 years at Austintwoods in the snack bar and gift shop.
Her husband, Sherrell N. Justice, whom she married November 23, 1946, passed away October 17, 1987.
Betty will be sadly missed by her three daughters: Leslie (Gale) Reedy, Susan Justice and Cheri (Harold) Blackann all of Austintown; five grandchildren: Ruth (Tom) Jones, Rachael (Caleb) Haynie, Rebekah Prior, Jim (Dawn) Thomas and Joshua Thomas; and twelve great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a brother Edward James Wood.
