Obituary for Shirley A Nesbitt
SHIRLEY A. NESBITT
HUBBARD – There will be services Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Shirley A. Nesbitt, 81, who passed away at home Saturday, July 16, 2011.
Shirley was born Aug. 2, 1929, in Hubbard, a daughter of Harold R. and Veva Rydman Johnson, and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.
She worked at Sun Oil in Youngstown for one year, and later worked as a secretary for the Hubbard School system for 21 years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Hubbard.
Her husband, Amos Nesbitt, whom she married April 29, 1950, passed away April 3, 2006.
She leaves her daughter, Diane R. (Charles) Seybert of Canfield; her son, Jeffrey A. (Deborah) Nesbitt of Coalburg; and five grandchildren.
She also leaves her brother, Kenneth Johnson of Medina; and a stepsister, Wanda Frisbie and an aunt, Thora Flint, both of Ashtabula.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Carroll Johnson.
There will be calling hours today, July 18, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, July 19, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens Canfield.
