Dorothy A. Garver
BOARDMAN – Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Good Hope Lutheran Church, Boardman, for Dorothy A. Garver. She passed away Friday night at Hospice House.
Mrs. Garver was born July 6, 1934, in Youngstown, a daughter of Walter and Zelda Rodkey Watkins. She had worked for Hospice of the Valley as a secretary.
Her husband, Robert C. Garver, whom she married Sept. 25, 1955, died Oct. 13, 1980.
She was an active member of the church and had graduated from Boardman High School
Surviving her, is a son, R. Mark Garver of Boardman; a sister, Bertie Blocksom of Ravenna; three grandchildren, Andrew, Amberly and Ashley; and three great-grandchildren, Damien, Skyler, and Fallon.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Good Hope Lutheran Church.
