Obituary for Joseph K Snyder

Joseph Kahle Snyder COLUMBIANA – Joseph Kahle Snyder, formerly of North Middle Street, died at 8:10 p.m. Friday at Masternick Memorial Healthcare Center, New Middletown. Mr. Snyder was born Sept. 14, 1918, in Hadley, Pa., a son of William and Ettie Martin Snyder, and had lived in Columbiana since 1985, coming from Austintown. Mr. Snyder was employed as a millworker at U.S. Steel in Youngstown for several years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Columbiana. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Uda B. Snyder. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Tabak, whom he married Sept. 28, 1985, and several nieces and nephews. Pastor David H. Conrad will officiate funeral services at 4 p.m. today, Feb. 14, 2010, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home in Columbiana, where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield..
