Visitation: Friday, Apr. 9, 2010 Funeral Service: Saturday, Apr. 10, 2010 Cemetery: Green Haven Memorial Gardens Makenzie Marie McBride of Austintown passed away at 1:59PM Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Akron Children's Hospital. She was 1 year old. Makenzie was born May 2, 2008 in Youngstown the daughter of Louis J. "Lou" and Shannon M. (Stevenson) McBride. Makenzie belonged to Believer's Christian Fellowship in Warren and attended its Kids for God Program on Sundays. She enjoyed eating, playing with her baby dolls and spending time playing with her sisters. She enjoyed watching Diego on Nickelodeon, cuddling and giving and receiving hugs and kisses. Most of all she enjoyed being a toddler. Makenzie is survived by her parents of Austintown; paternal grandparents Louis (Brenda) McBride Sr. of Austintown and Michelle McBride of Holliday, Florida; maternal grandparents Steve (Dawn) Stevenson of Youngstown and Tracey (Ricardo Garcia) Stevenson of Austintown; great grandparents Margaret McBride of Youngstown; Howard and Eleanore Stevenson of Youngstown; Robert L. and Kathryn Higham of Youngstown; and Paul and Barb Gensko of Farrell, PA; two sisters and a brother Ryleigh L. Roman of Austintown, Bradley J. Davis of Hubbard and Nevaeh H. McBride of Austintown; aunts Lori (Andy) Shinosky of Austintown, Kathy Scott of Poland and Jackie (Tony) Roth of Youngstown, numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. Makenzie was preceded in death by her great grandfather Louis L. McBride. Calling hours will take place on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 5 until 8 PM in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave, Austintown, Ohio, 44515. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with the Rev. John Hutchison, Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Community Church officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Makenzie's name to the Mackenzie McBride Memorial Fund established at any Huntington Bank.
