Obituary for Juanita Henry

JUANITA G. HENRY YOUNGSTOWN – Private services were held Friday for Juanita G. Henry, 83, who died Wednesday morning at Hospice House. Juanita was born March 1, 1928, in Ebensburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Dennis and Gertrude Feigh Weakland and came to this area in 1947. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Christine’s Church. She leaves her husband, Gene Henry, whom she married Oct. 1, 1947; three daughters, Karen Hungerford of Cranberry Township, Pa., Susan (James) Tarbet of Boardman and Diane (Steve) Komara of Poland; two sons, Dean (Valerie) Henry of Naperville, Ill., and Gene J. (Ginger) Henry of Baton Rouge, La.; nine grandchildren, Lori (Shawn), John , Jenny, Shawn, Tiffany, Brianna, Ryan, Vanessa and Joey; five great-grandchildren, Blake, Cameron, Connor, Isabel and Alexa; one sister, Mary “Edna” Henry of Austintown; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Scooter. Besides her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Juanita’s family was very important to her and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening. The family would like to thank everyone at Hospice of the Valley for their wonderful care and attention given to Juanita.
