Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Marsha E. Genetta, 72, of Austintown, who died suddenly at her residence on Thursday, January 13.
She was born August 21, 1938 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Cleo "Bliss" (Donham) Kohan, and she resided in this area all of her life.
She was a 1956 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She spent her adult life as a homemaker raising and caring for her family.
She married John A. Genetta on September 22, 1962 and he preceded her in death January 20, 2006.
Marsha was a kind and loving lady and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by two children; Dr. Timothy (Wendy) Genetta of Flushing, and Dr. Tina (Michael) Slyk of Warren. She also leaves behind four grandsons; Hayden, Hunter, Jacob and Samuel.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Humble.
Friends may call from noon- 2pm Sunday at the funeral home.
