Obituary for Mary Offenbecher

Mary 'Mitzi' Offenbecher “Together Again” NILES – Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Church in Struthers for Mary “Mitzi” Offenbecher, 82, formerly of Struthers, who died Thursday morning, Feb. 4, 2010, at Grace Woods Senior Living Center. She was born Dec. 12, 1927 in Dakova, Croatia, a daughter of the late Josef Roth and Mary Stallbringer. She is survived by her nephews, Richard (Sandy) Roth of Cleveland and Heinz Offenbecher of Alliance; a niece, Connie (Ron) Bilas of Ellsworth; two great-nephews, Richard Offenbecher of Cleveland and Heinz Offenbecher Jr. of Struthers; two great-nieces, Angelica Offenbecher of Sacramento, Calif. and Michelle Joseph of Seattle; two great-great-nephews, Ian Offenbecher and Nate Joseph; a niece, Neko Joseph; and two cousins, Mira Zwirn of Cleveland and Betty Calusic of Montreal, Canada. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Offenbecher, whom she married May, 1948, and who died Feb. 6, 1993; and a sister, Anna Roth. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
