Obituary for Pearl Martell
PEARL L. MARTELL
BURBANK – Pearl Louise Martell, 81, formerly of Austintown, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011, at Burbank Parke Care Center in Burbank, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Bedford County, Pa. on Aug. 27, 1929, to Charles and Nellie (Snyder) Beard.
Surviving are her children, Jane Powell, Alfred Martell, Connie Campfield, Barry Martell, Cindy Hale and Donald Martell; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lillian Boozer, Helen Beck, Mary Lou Shoaf and Nancy Willis; and two brothers, Michael Thomas and Roger Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred in 2004; daughter Patricia Sopko; and sisters, Patty Beard and Ruby Meyers.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi (330-948-1122).
Burial will be at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at Green Haven Memorial Park in Canfield.
Visitation is Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
