Obituary for Clarence S Snyder

CLARENCE S. SNYDER AUSTINTOWN – Clarence S. Snyder, 82, passed away Tuesday morning at Austintwoods Nursing Home. Clarence was born June 25, 1928, in Youngstown, a son of the late H. Stanley and Mae (Timmons) Snyder. He was an electric welder for Highway Heat Systems and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Clarence enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a former member of the Saxon Club. Clarence will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, the former Shirley Buchwalter, whom he married June 30, 1956; one brother, William R. Snyder of Chandler, Ariz.; six nieces; five nephew; and 17 great-nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathy Snyder. Honoring Clarence’s wishes, there are no services or calling hours. The Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
