Obituary for Leva G. Gunter
Leva G. Gunter, age 86, of Willoughby since 1973, died March 9, 2014 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. She was born Sept. 7, 1927 in Kenova, W. Va. Mrs. Gunter had been a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Willoughby. Survivors include her sons Andrew (Madelyn) Copley, of Kenova, W.Va. and Clifford (Shirley) Runyon of Ashtabula; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and step daughter Louise Barnhart of Mentor on the Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Gunter; grandson, Roger Lee Runyon; step son, Clarence Gunter Jr; brother, Emmitt Money; and sister, Ada Skean. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.
