Obituary for Fernande Tyler Milek
MILEK Mrs. Fernande "Fern" Tyler Milek, age 91, previously of Ansonia, died Wednesday at The Birmingham Health Care. She was the widow of Alexander F. Milek. Born in Ansonia on November 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Irene Oulette Tyler. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, graduate of the Assumption School and the Ansonia High School. A retired employee of B.F. Goodrich and Special Plus of Derby. She was a member of the Shelton Senior Center. Survivors are her daughter, Clara I. Palumbo of Ansonia; sons, Herbert A. Milek of Branford, William F. Milek and Alexander W. Milek of Oxford; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Brangdon and Doreen Breault. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:40 a.m. from the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N. Cliff St., Ansonia to the Church of the Assumption for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling
