Obituary for Ella Tinney

Ella Tinney, age 78, wife of the late Kenneth Tinney and Ansonia resident, passed to be with the Lord Feb. 9, 2011. She was born in Derby on March 21, 1932, daughter of the late Richard & Bessie Goodson London. She worked as a machine operator for Stelray Co. She was a member & church mother of the Greater Evangel Temple C.O.G.I.C in Ansonia and a member of the former Magicianettes of Ansonia. She leaves twelve children to cherish her memory, Brian Tinney of Derby, Dwayne, Raymond & Eric Tinney, all of Ansonia, Brenda Tinney Lathrop of Ansonia, Delores Tinney Brown of Hamden, Penney Tinney of Ansonia, Robin Anderson of New Haven, Vernadette, Beverly & Ruth Tinney, all of Ansonia & Kimberly Tinney of New Haven. She also leaves her brother Franklin London of Hamden, sisters Carrie London, Evelyn Lindsay & Serina Mills, all of Ansonia, thirty grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Kenneth & Theodore Tinney, her daughter Camille Tinney, sister Catherine Diaz & two brothers, Roosevelt London & Richard London Jr. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m. from the Greater Evangel Temple C.O.G.I.C., 75 Jackson St. Ansonia, Ct.
