Obituary for Gordon "Bud" F. Sr. King
Gordon "Bud" King, 85 of Ansonia, husband of 61 years to Dorothy Schwedler King, died April 9, 2010 surrounded by his family. Son of the late Arthur and Coral Friend King, he was born Oct. 22, 1924 in Ansonia. Mr. King worked for Griffin Hospital in Derby for more than 25 years. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd in Orange and a member and past captain of the Fountain Hose Fire Company in Ansonia. Besides his wife survivors include a son Gordon F. King Jr. of Clinton, daughter Diane King of Ansonia and sister Betty Danuszar of Ansonia. He was predeceased by two brothers Arthur and Donald King and one sister Dorothy Pollard. Jenkins King and Malerba Funeral Home Ansonia handled arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery
