Obituary for Edgar R. Saul

Edgar R. Saul, 77, of 10 Lloyd Road, HoHoKu, N. J., formerly of Kutztown, died Saturday in Ridgewood (N.J.) Nursing Home. He was the husband of Frances (Wiseman) Saul who died in January and Mary A. (Moll) Saul who died in 1980.

A 1930 graduate of Drexe1 University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he was an electrical engineer for New York Bell Telephone, New York City, for 43 years before retiring in 1973 Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Daniel M. and Laura S. (Chistman) Saul. He was a member ofHoHoKus Community Church.

An Army veteran of World War II, he fought in the Philippines 1942-46 and attained the rank of major.
Surviving are a son, Richard E. ofHoHoKus; three brothers, Willard, of Baltimore, Md., and J. Gomer and Frederick, both of Kutztown, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Trexler-Ludwick Funeral Home, 55 Noble St., Kutztown. A calling hour will precede the service.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Trexler-Ludwick Funeral Home, 55 Noble St., Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services. .
