Obituary for BARBARA A MILLER
Barbara A. Miller, 90, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, June 16th, at her residence. Barbara was born in New York City, New York on February 9, 1931, a daughter of the late Anna (Matlock) and Peter Succk. She was the widow of Clyde A. Miller. Clyde died Feb. 20, 2017. Barbara was a member of Holy Guardian Angels RCC, Reading. Barbara graduated from Central Catholic in 1949. She was a den mother for cub scout troop 161, from Holy Guardian Angels; she worked for Pomeroy's, Arrow International and St. Joseph Hospital, retiring in 1993. Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother who was always there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed baking, gardening, going to the beach and casinos and she was an avid Phillies fan. Barbara is survived by a daughter, Debra A., wife of Michael Sola, of Blandon; three sons Gregory A., husband of Pamela Miller, of Temple; Bruce P Miller, of Muhlenberg Twp and Geoffrey D. Miller, of Mohrsville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild and 5 great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by a grandson Timothy Sola and 2 sisters Jacqueline Marchione and Joan Huyett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 24th at 11:00 AM from Holy Guardian Angels RCC, 3121 Kutztown Rd., Reading.
