Obituary for BEULAH H. SCREPESI

Beulah H. Screpesi, 92, of Kenhorst, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Screpesi who passed away on March 1, 2001.

Born on April 5, 1930, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Marion E. and Mabel (Yoh) Berger.

During her life, she was employed as a housekeeper for the Reading Hospital for many years until retirement. Beulah was a member of St. John Baptist De la Salle Roman Catholic Church. She loved baking and was involved in the Red Hatters and Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna M. Mohler, wife of Scott L. Sr., of Mohnton; Lisa A. Bosch, of Kenhorst; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty J. Brightbill, wife of Todd A., of Spring  Township; step-sister, Doris Reber; step-brother, Gary Berger; and several nieces and nephews.

Beulah was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Ann Hartman, Robert Berger, William Berger; stepsiblings, Barry Berger, and Joseph Berger.

A prayer service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 9:00am-11:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Children Hospital in Philadelphia.
