Obituary for CLARA A RUPPERT

Clara A. Ruppert, 90, of Wyomissing, passed away Wednesday, November 1st in her residence.

Clara was married for sixty-eight years to Daniel A. Ruppert Sr.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter Sikorski and Pearl (Godziejewski) Sikorski.

Clara was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in West Reading.

In earlier years, she was employed by Hirschland Optical and George Delp Contact Lenses, both located in Reading.

Clara enjoyed traveling to the casinos, primarily in Atlantic City, where her favorite place to stay and gamble was the Showboat Casino.

Clara was a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan and followed the team very closely.

Clara loved spending time with all her family members, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include two children, Barbara A. Rider, of Reading, and Daniel A. Ruppert Jr., widower of Ann Marie Ruppert, of Winterhaven, Fla.

There are three grandchildren: Andrea Devlin, Theresa McCulley and Michael Ruppert.

There are four great-grandchildren: Connor, Cole, Colin and Jayla.

Also, there is a sister, Stella Albrecht, of Reading, and a predeceased brother, Walter "Siki" Sikorski.

A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, November 6th, at 11 a.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Deacon William R. Kase officiating.

A viewing will be held on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
