1927 - 2023

On Tuesday May 9, 2023, Marythe L. Wilden at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Dr. Samuel T. Wilden. Mother of the late Richard A. Wilden (Janet D. Wilden). Grandmother of Richard Wilden (Amanda), Michelle Wilden, Susie Wilden (Keith Wilhem) and Amy Wilden. Great grandmother of Richard “Ricky” Wilden, Michael Wilden and Becca Wilden. Great great grandmother of Catrter, Mikalia and Jax.

Marythe was born in France, fell in love with an American Soldier, married and moved to the States. She was a volunteer for over 50 years at St. Margaret’s Hospital and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. She was an avid gardener cultivating beautiful flowers and always enjoyed a good meal at a nice restaurant.

Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Friday from 4-8p.m. A graveside service will be held at Allegheny Cemetery at 1p.m. with The Rev. Dr. Luke Zerra officiating.
