Obituary for Mrs. Pauline E. Moore

Pauline E. (Patterson) Moore, 93, of Topton, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Willis P. Moore, whom she married on August 1, 1948 and who died on March 12, 2020.

Born in Chicago, IL, Pauline was a daughter of the late David and Helen Patterson, and was a graduate of Escondido High School, Escondido, CA and San Diego State University, San Diego, CA, where she received a bachelor’s degree in social work. While living in Ramona, CA, Pauline was the owner and operator of Pauline’s Sportswear in Santee for several years.  After moving to Pahrump NV, she was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Stardust Chapter #32, Pahrump, NV, was a member of the local radio club, and enjoyed sewing.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Kathleen E. (Moore), wife of Jerry B. Anderson, Mertztown; two grandchildren, Zoe Abeles and Gibson Moore; and along with her husband and parents, was predeceased by her son, Russell P. Moore, and by her two brothers, John Patterson and David Patterson.

Services for Pauline will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 9:00 AM in Deibert Hall, located on the first floor of the Henry Health Care Center (Breidegam Center Entrance) on the campus of the Lutheran Home at Topton, 45 Home Road, Topton, PA.
