Obituary for Mr. Dennis M. Ferguson

Dennis M. Ferguson, 72, of Krumsville, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Tower Health - Reading Hospital, with his wife of 50 years by his side.  Dennis was the husband of Brenda R. (Gambler) Ferguson, whom he married on July 1, 1972. Born and raised in Kutztown, Dennis was the son of the late Floyd J. Ferguson, and Adelaide A. (Huseman) Ferguson.

He was a 1968 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, briefly attended Keystone State College, and completed cosmetology school. Dennis was employed most recently by East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc., Lyons, until his retirement. He was previously employed by Kutztown Manor, Holiday Hair, and Alburtis Foundry. 

Dennis was an avid deer hunter, NASCAR enthusiast, and die-hard Mark Martin fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly weekly Sunday suppers with his children and grandchildren.  No one will ever truly fill his seat at the head of the table.

Dennis is also survived by his two children, Andrea L. (Ferguson), wife of Travis L. Bohn, Hamburg, and Gregory S. Ferguson, Krumsville, fiancé of Amanda M. Stimpfl; and four grandchildren, Kaylin, Evan, Douglas, and Austin.

Dennis was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

Services for Dennis will be held privately by his family.
