Obituary for Francis G. Nardi

Francis (Jerry) Nardi

Devoted and beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went to our Lord peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday, March 16, 2023. 

Jerry was born in October 1929 to Alfred T. and M. Adelaide Nardi.  He graduated from Calvert Hall College in 1947. Jerry served in the Maryland Air National Guard and was a band leader in his early days. He was a true entrepreneur, devoting most of the last several decades to his multi-media advertising businesses. 

Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, road-trips, antiquing, and music.  Known to have a passion for photography, Jerry captured many special moments and developed the photos himself in his darkroom.  Jerry will be remembered with a smile for his funny stories and his famous “dad” dance that will undoubtedly be continued in his honor at future family events.  

Jerry is survived and will be dearly missed by Julia, his spouse of nearly 67 years, five children, Mary Vosburg(Perry Hall, MD) and her husband Rick, Mike Nardi (SanDiego, CA) and his wife Donna, Carol Novak (Abingdon, MD) and her husband Dan, John Nardi (Gallatin, TN) and his wife Pam, and Susan Dibley (Fallston, MD) and her husband Jay.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren ,7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Nardi.  

A Memorial Mass will be held at the St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 2407 Laurel Brook Road, Fallston, MD 21047 on Friday, April 21st @ 10:30 am with a luncheon to follow in the McCall Center.
