Obituary for Irene A Wehr

Irene A. Wehr, 78, of Norwegian Woods, Norwegian Township, passed away on Monday at home. 

Born on April 14, 1944 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Tillie (nee Pellish) Uranko.  She was a 1962 graduate of Pottsville High School. 

She was co-owner and office manager of Wehr’s Auto Service, Inc., Pottsville. 

She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Uranko. 

Irene is survived by her husband of 58 years, W. Lee Wehr; two children, Lisa Wehr, Minersville, and Doug Wehr and his spouse, Joanne, North Manheim Township; a grandson, Jared Wehr and his wife, Megan, North Manheim Township.  She is also survived by her remaining brother, Joseph Uranko and his wife, Peg, Bethlehem; nieces and nephews.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.  Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.  Visit www.dutcavich.com
