Obituary for Mrs. Mildred J. Zeigler

Mildred J. (Delp) Zeigler, 94, of York passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Shrewsbury with her loving husband by her side.

She was the wife of Robert P. Zeigler, Jr. for 78 years of wonderful marriage! They were together for 80 years and their songs are Always, It Had to be You, and Together. They enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping and traveling, antiquing and attending art and carving shows. They were active members of St Peter's Lutheran Church for many years.

Mildred was born on March 18, 1926 in Emigsville. Daughter of the late Jacob W. and Estie (Kann) Delp. She worked as a seamstress and supervisor at Bernsteins Sewing Factory and Danskin. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, sewing and knitting.

Mildred is survived by her husband: Robert P. Zeigler, Jr., their nieces and nephews: Clair Delp, Tina Knaub, Ricky Zeller, Kevin Zeller, Melanie Tate, Allegra Gleeson, Sharon Kuhn, Gerald Zeigler, Jr., Cynthia Bernstein and many great and great great Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by brothers Clair Delp and John Delp, her sister Mae Grove, niece Fay Weaver, nephew Barry Fink and her beloved dog Toi.

There will be no services at this time. Burial will be at the discretion of the family.
