Obituary for Blanche Elnora Chase

Blanche Elnora Chase, a beloved resident of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday the 4th of March 2023 at the age of 90. Blanche was born on December 23, 1932 in Morton PA, the daughter of Charles E. Chase & Susan Ellen Chase.

 A graduate of Phyllis Wheatley School in Morton, PA, where she completed her eighth-grade education in 1948 and  went on to attend Lansdowne High School from 1949-1950 before becoming a proud graduate of Media High School in June 1952.

 Blanche was a dedicated and loving mother to her two children, Tracey McCloud and Meredith Chase. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

 She loved her family deeply, had a passion for classic literature and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren about language and the arts. She was a hard worker and a woman of many talents who believed in the value of education and working to achieve one's goals. Blanche was an inspiration to those around her and always strived to be the best version of herself.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
