Obituary for Elaine A. Seaman

Elaine A. (Schadler) Seaman, 90, of Kutztown, died Friday, March 3, 2023, in Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown, surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of Lawrence S. Seaman, who died February 2, 2007.  Born in Kutztown, Elaine was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Anna L. (Kern) Schadler.  She was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown, where she was a very active Kitchen Volunteer, assisting with many of the cooking and baking projects of the church.

Elaine was employed as a Parking Enforcement Officer and Crossing Guard by the Borough of Kutztown, until her retirement.

Mrs. Seaman was an active member and former Trustee of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Kutztown; she was also a member of the Kutztown and Lyons Fire Companies Ladies Auxiliaries.

Elaine is survived by her four sons:  David R., husband of Barbara A. (Schmitt) Seaman, Mertztown; Larry R., husband of Sharon F. (Conrad) Seaman, Kutztown; Danny L., husband of Sherry L. (Herman) Seaman, The Villages, FL; and Steven P., husband of Doreen M. (Musser) Seaman, Kutztown.  Other survivors include seven grandchildren: Steven P. Seaman, Bart D. Seaman, Trent D. Seaman, Brian G. Seaman, Kimberly M. Seaman, Jennifer L. Seaman, Dane M. Seaman and thirteen great grandchildren: Alyssa L. Seaman, Scott A. Seaman, Matthew Seaman, Gianna Seaman, Macen R. George, Jaxon T. George, Kolby J. Schemberg, Connor J. Schemberg, Kahlan Seaman, Conor Seaman, Cole W. Seaman, Genevieve G. Seaman and Cody J. Seaman.  In addition to her husband, Lawrence, and parents, Elaine was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Ann (Schadler) Miller; and two brothers, David A. Schadler and Dennis A. Schadler.  In addition, Elaine was predeceased by grandsons, David B. Seaman and Cody J. Seaman.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate and Honor Elaine's Life will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, 47 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend Kim L. Adamson, officiating.  Inurnment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.  Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church.
