Obituary for DAVID BARIDON

David Baridon MD was born on September 1, 1928 to Nina Mae and David C. Baridon in Des Moines. He entered eternal life February 28, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital.

Dr. Baridon was a respected pathologist in Des Moines, first at Pathology Associates and later at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. In his retirement he was a volunteer instructor for the medical laboratory program at DMACC. David was a graduate of Northwestern University medical school, and did his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Known for his love of family, his Savior and his neighbor, David was humbly generous and was always ready to witness to his God’s generosity and grace.

David was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Verda. Left to cherish his memory are David’s two sons: Rev. David Mark Baridon of Louisville, KY and Dr. Bruce Baridon (Marilyn) of Cedar Falls, IA, four grandchildren and their spouses, and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2, 5:30-7:30 pm at Ankeny Baptist Church, 2842 Third Street. Ankeny, IA 50023

Memorial Service will be on Friday, March 3, 11:00 AM at Ankeny Baptist Church. 2842 Third Street. Ankeny, IA 50023
