Obituary for Wayne S. Rowell

Wayne Southard Rowell, 88 of Glen Mills, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. 

Wayne was born in Casper, Wyoming on May 29, 1933, and served his country as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy.  Wayne was an avid Philly sports fan, especially the Eagles and Phillies.  He was a long-time member of the Church of the Holy Comforter in Drexel Hill, PA, and sang in the choir for over 39 years.  Wayne was employed by ITE Circuit Breakers, and ABB Corporation, retiring after 42 years of combined service to both companies.

Wayne was the son of the late Southard E. Rowell and Gwendolyn M. Cameron, husband to the late Doris (nee Thomas) Rowell, and brother to the late Robert Elsworth Rowell and Elizabeth Jane Klimek.

Survivors: His children: Thomas W. Rowell and Dawn Bonella; and grandchildren: Michael C. Bonella and Nicole E. Bonella.

Committal of Wayne will be Friday, November 25th, 2022 at 2pm in Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill, PA 19026 where Military Honors will be accorded. All are welcome.
