Obituary for DOLORES J. FRONINA

Dolores J. Fronina, 79, of Laureldale, passed away on September 22, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Bryn Mawr, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jane (Wright) Duranto.

She was employed by R.M. Palmer Candy, Redner’s Market, and Sheetz.

Dolores was a caring, selfless, strong independent person with a great sense of humor. She especially enjoyed her family and friends and testing her luck at bingo.

Dolores cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by seven children: James (Michelle) Fronina, Thomas (Lori) Fronina, Lory Leonti, Kimberly Fronina, Jeffery (Regina) Fronina, DeeDee (Michael) Weinhold, and Todd Fronina; 12 grandchildren: Jason (Jessica) Fronina, Amanda (Mark) Rotkiske, T.J. (Jamie) Fronina, Cory (Sarah) Leonti, Ryan (Nicole) Fronina, Chad (Holly) Walters, Marissa Fronina, Karissa (Todd) Bartashus, Kaley Seivard, Steven Seivard, Brett (Kayla) Fronina, and Anthony (Kaleigh) Fronina; 14 great-grandchildren.

Dolores is also survived by one sister, Linda (Gary) Swavely.

She was predeceased by one brother, Ronald Durante.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and staff at St. Joseph Medical Center’s Critical Care Unit for their kindness and excellent care of our mother; not only did they show compassion for mom, but they also gave our family so much needed peace as they checked in on us as well.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery with inurnment to follow. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd. Temple, PA 19560. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
