Obituary for Suzanne Rouland

On August 1, 2022 Suzanne Rouland died peacefully in the presence of her family.

She is survived by her sons Christopher Rouland, Michael Rouland, daughter Carolyn Rouland Schwenke and her sister Cathy Rowell Fisher. She was blessed with five grandchildren Eva, Madeleine, Scarlett, Mason and Sophia. 

Suzanne was born in Philadelphia, PA. A graduate from St Agnes School in Alexandria and attended Mount Vernon College. She founded The Rouland Group in 1983, which provided research services for Patents and Trademark lawyers in the DC area including clients of industry leading companies. She spent most of her life in Northern Virginia; Alexandria, Vienna, Reston and McLean.

A graveside service will be held on August 13, 10:30am at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Brain Injury Services, 8136 Old Keene Mill Road, Ste B-102, Springfield, VA 22512.
