Obituary for Axel J Markle

Axel passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2022. Axel is survived by his Mother, Gail Willhite (Brown) and Stepfather, Wayne Brown. He is also survived by his Father, Steven Markle, his Grandparents, Tom and Carol Willhite, Richard and Anita Aul, and Thomas and Henrietta Brown. Axel is also survived by his siblings, Zachary Markle, Autumn Brown, Katie Brown and many friends. Axel had a way of making everybody feel special. His compassion for others served him well as a med-tech at Cumberland Crossing Manor. He had a deep passion for cooking and music. He was self taught in guitar in multiple genres, and was extremely fond of playing the bass guitar. He was supportive of local artists and bands. He also enjoyed nature. Friends and family received at the John J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Ltd., 119 South 15th Street, Pittsburgh, South Side on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Memorial Service on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:30 am. at the Funeral Home.
