Antonia Raquel Fernandez, age 95, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 6, 2022.

Born in Jovellanos, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Enrique and Maria Cristina (née Perez) Corzo.

Antonia was employed for some time with Penn Tube Plastics as an inspector.

Antonia was the beloved wife of the late Alberto Fernandez; the loving mother of Rebecca Devlin (Richard) and the late Alberto Fernandez, Jr.  She was the devoted grandmother of Rebecca Gallagher (Joseph) and Angela Howard (Neal); and the dear great-grandmother of Hudson, Reagan, Christian Watts, Nickayla McCarty, and Tristen Howard.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Thursday, May 12, 2022, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, followed by her Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM.  Interment, Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Antonia’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105, would be appreciated.
